Andrew Studley – Managing Director
Andrew has over 25 years print industry experience. He trained as a printer and has been a Managing Director for 22 years, overseeing project development of over £1million of press installations. He has developed key national clients at board level. He has developed a successful hands-on-management approach. He is not afraid of rolling his sleeves up and working on print and finishing machines at busy times and to set an example to his staff.
Andy Lewis – Estimating
Andy has 40 years in the industry. He did an apprenticeship in hot metal compositing and over the years has had a variety of roles: hot metal compositor, linotype operator, planner, mac operator, studio manager, sales representative, general manager and estimator. With both backroom and customer-facing experience Andy’s knowledge of the industry is second to none and he will happily advise on the best way of producing a job.
Linda Wade – Production
Linda trained as graphic designer at the College of Art and Design, Swindon and worked at design agencies for blue chip clients. When she moved to South Wales, where there were fewer opportunities, she worked in print shops and then worked a studio manager. Linda is in charge of our production and understands the demands of project scheduling. Her background as a designer, which included print buying, means she understands what is expected from a customer point of view.
Alexandra Mangan – National Sales Manager
Alex has been in the Print Trade for over 25 years. She did a print apprenticeship at Reading then moved in to paste up. She became a major account manager for a large print company on the South Coast before joining the full time sales team. She has worked for a small family-run and a large finishing house and understands the benefits and pitfalls of both. Alex has real enthusiasm and a fresh approach to sales and customer engagement.
Andy Pugh – Repro
Andy is South Wales valleys born and bred. He originally did an apprentice as a compositor but re-trained as a film planner and platemaker then with the technology changes moved onto digital reprographics. His work includes PDF work flow, impositions, proofs, (and re-proofs). He prefer Mac’s to PC’s, Quark to Indesign and tea over coffee. Andy will happily discuss any artwork issues and advise you on the best way to set up complex jobs.
